does the air inlet temp. sen. have to be made fit inside the sock filter or what?

ye I think so. The sensor fits into the body of the original airbox. I am fitting a hard custom air box so will do the same.

yes it does as above i have seen some people clip it to the side of the throttle body's but it is meant to be in the air box eg in your back plate hope this mite help

there is no space for it in the backplate,surelly the temp. will be the same in the sponge or outside the sponge

if you put it out side the plate it will be fine mate my pal has a firm that builds gtr cars and he has no probs with doing like that and its tried and tested so its your call but it will work fine
