does anybody know of a decent alluminium welder in the croydon or surrounding areas to weld a fuel pump adapter ring on the bottom of my mk fuel tank.

I thnk your best bet would be to use yellow pages to find a few local fabricators/engineering shops and just pop your head around the door at lunch time and ask ???

Maybe a bit far away from Croydon but I've used these guys on a number of occasions very reasonable and quick turnaround.
