Can anyone point me in the direction of a good free image resizer that is very easy to use and wont expire after 30 days???

Ive just sussed how to resize with current software. I just need to suss what is best size for uploading to photo archive.

Programmes here for all kinds of stuff. They are older versions of the stuff they sell just to get your interest. I use the later version of Photoplus and it's good for a reasonable price. Click for free image editor
If you have already sussed out how to do it - I was advised by my lecturer that 90Kb is a good bench mark figure to work on for internet images.
However with the increase in Broadbeans since then I guess it's now pretty irrelivant. However, you need to optimise your images (this reduces
the number of colours used) it makes the upload and download much quicker with very little loss in image quality. Also very small images are best in
.gif other's maybe .jpg - it's a trial and error thing. BTW Most monitors display in 72dpi so if you have resolutions of 200dpi or more the
actual size will increase pro rata.
