Tiger Avon
Does anyone know if you can install a bike engine in an Avon. Is it a specialised job?

Have a word with chester sportscars or have a look at their web site they do a zx9 kit ,lightning on here fitted a fireblade engine to his i have also
seen a cbr1000 fitted ,i dont think its any more difficult to fit one to an avon then any other kit.

I`ve seen 2 or 3 Avons with ZX9R lumps fitted so yes it is possible.

I'm fitting a blade engine in mine.
there is no 'off the shelf' engine cradle or exhaust manifold supplied by Tiger so I have had to make up my own and adapt another
manufacturer's exhaust (MK) to fit (pics in my archive.)
However, as previously stated, Chester sports cars should be able to help if you were to install a ZX9 lump.

Never had a car engine. I made up the cradle. Its easy to do. Place in the engine and build one around to suite. We did this with Andys car as well.
