I beleive this is a 'feature' of the bodywork. Pat (Avoneer) might be able to tell us, as he's fitted, or is fitting his bodywork. I 'think' it to do with the monkey who trims the panels with his angle grinder

All my opinion, errors and exceptions accepted (for legal reasons)

Stick a bit of black "U" trim over it, then it will be a feature. Tidies grotty edges up no end..
