Avon roll bar

Having some fun fitting the roll bar. The bar is located centrally on the chassis, but because the bodywork is not fully symetrical, its showing a 15mm difference in where the tubes pass into the bodywork. It'll need a cunning plan. Any suggestions fellas ? Rescued attachment DSCF0001.JPG

Don't worry about 15mm till you measure the wheel arches!

Is it the semi-circular gap that you've cut out that you're worried about?

No not really. I'm going to widen the boot space a little so thats not an issue. Yes, I am concerned about the rear wheel arches being in the corect place. I've not got the rear suspension built up yet, I've only got the lower wishbones, can I ascertain the wheel position from that alone ? If so, I'll move the whole tub if neccessary. What do you think ?

Yes - get your rear wheels on - even though one will be further in the arch than the other and jiggle it like hell until it looks ok.

It's hard work, but you can get it to look half good!
