gearbox advice needed

Can anyone tell me which part has to be removed in the gearbox with the remote gearchange???
I've got a remote gearchange (Westfield model) from Tiger.

Do you mean what has to be removed to fit a remote gear linkage?

There is a reverse stop that needs to be removed. It is on the right hand side (looking from the gear selector end up towards the bellhousing).

It is an interference fit, it's quite hard to knock out. I found the best way to get it out was to pull it out using a piece of m10 threaded bar, a couple of nuts a piece of 5mm steel plate with a 10mm hole drilled in it and a 10 repair washer.

Basically lodge the repair washer behind the reverse detent (bit you want to get out), put the steel plate on the outside of the gearbox, put on the second nut and tighten it up to pull the detent out.

Hope this makes sense (or yours comes out easily !)

I just levered it out with a BIG screwdriver.

you also need to remove the rear cover plate - that just pushes out .

Thanks for all your solutions.
