rear wishbones

After a long spell away from my build, I'm now in a position to make some more progress at last !

Anyone got a set of Avon rear wishbones going spare ?

make your own... you'll be much happier than using Tiger items - and they might fit!

seriously the alignment is weird and they put a twist on the damper.

the drawings in the book are a good start BUT... a little adjustment is needed. Best bet would be get a look at a set fitted so you can see where the adjustment is needed.

Your welcome to have a look at my car anytime but it's a bit of distance for you....

Alternatively Viper made some rear uppers to his own design and also moved the shock mount:-

Rear end
Rear end

Cheers

I made all the wishbones on my car because the tiger ones were so bad, also they were not made to tigers drawings....
(if tiger can't make the wishbones to there drawings who's to say they can draw???)

ps: forgot to say i made the uprights different to tigers as well.

Thanks Andyps, I've sent you a u2u ! Are you still at the same address? I've got your address from a previous u2u !

My main concerns are the hub carrier and the tap sizes for the rose joints. Do I need a left hand thread for one side of the car etc ?

i've decided to make my own top rear wishbones. Can someone give me a list of the materials and tools needed for me to fabricate them? tube diameter and wall thickness etc.

Drive shaft carriers/hubs

Many thanks
