Very nice.

How did you bend the aluminium 'uprights' to match the scuttle profile?

Looking at doing this for my windscreen uprights.

Cheers,
James

Cheers for the nice comments

the uprights are cut from 3mm sheet ally with a jigsaw and hand fettled... bending to match the scuttle was just a matter of holding in a vice and gentle tapping with a rubber mallet. A tiny bit at a time and keep on offering it up until its right. Its a slow process but ultimately it works....
there is also a small length of ally channel section (courtesy of B&Q) bolted to the upright to locate the screen

the screen itself is a sheet of smoked perspex off ebay. cut with a jig saw again and carefully sanded. hardest part was getting the curve right at the bottom edge... quite a lot of fettling to get that right...

quite pleased with the result really. total cost about £40
