Out of interest did you make up the alternator bracket, or is it an of the shelf one?

I made it - just a bit of angle iron with a piece of flat bar welded on the end.
It was a very tight fit beneath the carbs, so I doubt an off the shelf one would have fitted.

I'll take some more. It's a bit of a bodge - the pulley came with the engine, but it wasn't fitted so not sure exactly what it
did.
It bolts onto the front of the head and lines up perfectly with the belt run.
I made a bracket to offer a bit of extra strength. Seems to work fine so far.
