rear fog light

Hi,

I want to place the rear fog light in the middle on the back, is this allowed concerning the SVA and are there any requirements in the size and how much light it produces?.

Yes it is OK to place it in the middle, it must be a designed for the purpose and the lens must be "E" marked and must be visable from 25 degrees of either side. Have a look on Car Builder Solutions or SVC Staffordshire web sites for pupose built lamps, they are quite cheap

You will also need to make sure the fog light is vertical (ie you can't just attach it to the back of the car unless you use a spacer block). There's a picture of my fog light in my photo archive (as it passed SVA).

Can't tell, the photo's not big enough

But looking at the second photo it looks like it's flush with the rear panel and therefore points upwards slightly? If so it needs to be mounted on a backer, like the photo of Hellfire's.
