Hi All
Hi all this is my first post and I am just setting out on doing my first kit car
I have been doing cars for some time but more Escorts just sold MK1 Mexico so need a new toy.
I have decided on a MK indy kit I am off next week to take a look at them and put my order in one thing I would like to know is I can get a R1 R6 or a
blade engine at a good price but which is the more reliable and do I go for a carb version or injection?
More to come soon when I embark on the build is anyone else from the Manchester area I am just in a place called Ashton.
Cheers Andy

if you can get 1 for 500 quid great
but Id approach it with an open mind because people know they can get money for these
like I say it will benefit you hugeley if you had the whole loom etc etc
sometimes you have to wait for one to come up
thanks chris

cant offer an opinion on benefits of one engine over another, however am happy to talk over my blackbird engined indy which is just up the road from
you at glossop. Not on the road yet as just doing finishing touches for sva. Prob sending paper work off in about 2-3 weeks. Its only taken 4 1/2
years so no rush. Also MK ninja lives about 5 miles from me and his indy is fully on the road and we tend to get together once or twice a month.
let me know if you want a look over the cars. just U2U me.
cheers

Put a ZZR1100 in it, youll buy a complete bike for a little over a grand & get most of that back if you flog all the bits on ebay.
