Finally got my first drive

Went out today and seeing as the weather was so good thought i'd go for a drive

Altho the gear linkage wasnt perfect it worked fine.
So we pushed it outta the garage, pushed the starter button and she fired up first time!
Initially it was pretty hard to find the biting point but after a minute i had got use to it.
Just wish my street was longer cause my mate had to keep gettin out to push it backwards when turning.

The spark is coming back on monday to finish the electrics so will get it mot'd and sva's shortly so i can get a proper drive in this wee beast

Big thanks to everyone at locostbuilders, without all the knowledge on here i wouldnt have known where to start.

Glad to hear you're nearly there. Once you get used to it, you won't need to push it turn round. You'll just leave nice neat circles of rubber everywhere.
Oh, and really nice looking car too.

Indeed. So much so we got the missus a soft top. Although it did mean I needed a hair cut! not having a mindscreen for the same reason. And because I can't be ar$ed to fit one.

No I'm not at the track day today, I don't think many of the other BEC sevens folk are either (from the couple I've talked to).
