No, that's the GT-R, a guy from the Scarborough area bought the jigs and moulds but as not done a thing with them, i did here Martin did at one
time try too buy them back, never asked him so cannot confirm it, but I think he should, don't you ?

I think he should, the whole mk business is looking very good, with some really nice motors being made. But why on earth did he sell in the first
place, they do look great and that paint job make it look even better .

Thanks for the kind coments. The car is owned by Dave Mcenzie ,keith Maden and my self we bought the car last year and took it to the donnington kitar
show but after a day on the track we realised it was not very reliable ! a couple of days after the show we took every part off the car and sent the
chassis away for powder coating , we have spent the past 6 months putting it all back together the way we think a car should be built .
The car is running a Blackbird engine .the wheels are 17" which we Know are not the best wheels to run on this type of car ,we have 16"
slicks for track days ( we put the 17" wheels on just because they look good ! ) We have now bought a second GT1 from Simon at Rochdale (
evo3500 ) which we wil be using for track days and will repaint next winter ( if we don't crash it )

Very looking car! Love the paint scheme, like the playstation liveried Audi LMP. I think the wheels fill the arches brilliantly and make it look
great. Might not handle amazingly but still, if the real LMPs can use massive wheels!
As said, not too sure about the high back end though, too much tyre being shown.
Shame Martin sold the car, i would love my next project to be an LMP and would love to have another MK.

Dam that's a fine car - how much am I looking at for one of them?
I'm tempted to build mine - flog it and get one - they are awesome

If you believe you're not crazy, whilst everybody is telling you, you are - then they are definitely wrong!

Your thoughts are correct reagarding the GT-R, however, the photograph and car discussed in this thread is the old GT1.
Hope that makes sense.

The GT-R (GT2) project was sold by Martin to Evolution Sportscars who only ever sold 1 chassis and bodywork (to me).
Martin then took it back and moved it on to Spire Sportcars who now sell the kit.
I believe Spire have sold in the region of 6 or 7 kits so far.

There always seems to be something of interest when I am away from a PC!
Looks a very nicely put together car with a great colour scheme.
I have to echo what Jon said about frequently being asked "where can I get one of those" Looks like a gap in the market to me
