anyone got pics of headlights on indy R
Morning all,
Wondered if anyone has Russbost's photon twin projector headlights on their Indy? Want to see what they look like before I buy some. Also, how
did you bolt them on to the standard Indy R chassis mounting bracket?
Am also open to alternative headlight suggestions. Want something smaller than the standard 7" ones.
Cheers,
mads

Not sure if those are IVA-able, but I'd def go with this type rather than the twin type of Russ'
Don't get me wrong he's a great bloke, it's just a preferential/aesthetic thing...
Part's of these car's need to look lairy (decals for instance) and parts need to look "of an age", in my humble opinion...

Flat dip beam is now ok for IVA, so will be fine I think Russ also sells the Dominator headlights.

I agree with you Steve. I like the idea of the ones from Russ but want to see what they'd actually look like on an Indy before I go off
purchasing them.
I do like 40inches headlights - they dont look too big.

Don't know if this is an Indy, but will give the general idea (it's a LSIS, they all look the same to me!!! )
Tw proj on 7 off
Tw proj on 7 close up
Tw proj on 7 on
I do of course sell the single dominators should you prefer them, got some great new single projectors just come in doing dip & main within the
Photon single alloy body
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

The 4" Dominators have been known to fail IVA, not because of the flat beam paternal, but because the flat line was not defined enough. It was
put down to the cheap chinese build quality IIRC.
It should be said that many do pass IVA though.

Thanks YQUSTA. Have looked at pics in your archive. I think the mounting bracket for the headlamps has changed from the Indy to Indy R as mine just
has a single hole for the headlamp to bolt through vertically - dont really want to be changing that either.

My brackets were changed by me, they are wishbone tube.
You could still use yours though, just have a bolt in the middle.
I made my bracket also was easy enough.
