coilovers info

sorry for all my questions guys, i hope i'm not annoying you all too much it's just i'm forever thinking about all the things i need to get sorted out!

can anyone give me some info on the coilovers used for the indy? one of the suppliers i deal with through my work rekons they can get me a good deal on some but he needs some info on exactly what they are.

i'm guessing they aren't made specific for the indy so what production car do they also fit?

if anyone has part numbers then that would be beyond great!

thanks yet again
john

they arent for production cars as such. On kits in general it is usually 12 inch long coilovers, with a spring rate between 150 and 350 depending on the car and the end its going on, with either a non adjustable damper set to suit the spring, or adjustable ones.

I dont think there is too much to be saved on the coilovers, 'you pay your money and make your choice'. Zeemerides are usually quoted as the cheapest at 200ish, darrens at gts maybe 220, ones with more frills go up from there.

They do come up on ebay quite often so it may be worth getting second hand.
