Front wing brackets

I'm looking to fit and bend the brackets today. But I noticed firstly they don't fit well... no problem il bend them. But the problem I got is where they connect to the bottom ball joint there isn't enough thread, the nut only just goes on without the bracket? Any ideas? they are standard mk brackets also are these handed?

Cheers Toby

Your problem is that its MK supplied. I dont own one, but am disgusted at the service and quality that has been supplied to a mate of mine.

You need to put up a picture, as I am sure there are various different MK brackets.

One lot I saw fouled the brake pipes, and the upper support actually went in the gap in the upright that allows the pinch bolt to grip the mushroom

I'm sure they have done more than one design.

Err! The uprights need to match the taper on the ball joint, didn't MK offer to do them? Unsafe without doing them and will bring the thread out by around 10mm when done.
Put your location on your profile, someone nearby may have a taper reamer

Ok, perhaps there is a misunderstanding.

I know there should be a bolt at the red "dot", but I remember seeing a picture over here where someone also had a bolt at the green dot (to prevent the mushroom turning around ?). So my question was, is the bolt at the green dot mandatory ?
