Sump gaskets for pinto

Hi

can anyone tell me if it is worth getting the performance sump gaskets over the cork ones. the car gets some track action but mainly hard road stuff, i do live near the north yorkshire moors after all!!

Gaskets i've seen are here LINKY

PS - the reason i ask is that my current sump gasket is leaking from the front and wondered whether this may because i have over tightened the sump bolts and squeezed the cork gasket too much leading me to think it may be worth paying the little extra to get the paper one - or is it a con

Cheers matt

just use red hylomar with the gasket strips... helps assemble them anyhow.

Surely if a cork gasket is leaking/weeping, a paper gasket will be worse?
