What Bike carbs
I am considering swapping my twin 40's for bike carbs, engine is a 1.8 zetec running ignition only control via GEMS what would be the best carbs
and would they need re jetting ???I know a new manifold will need to be made done this already for an injected 2.00 zetec using carbs a tb's

Anything 900cc + will be fine. My fav's for build quality alone are the fireblade carbs.
earlier ones dont have a tps if your ecu needs one ? So if you need one make sure its got one.
Mods include drilling the jets out and maybe raising the needles ect loads of info on here for specific carbs.

Mine are off a Honda cb600 hornet drilled out mains to 1.55 and seem fine. Mine is a 1.6 pinto however.

I've got some off a kawasaki ZX9R. haven't used them yet though.... they have TPS already on them, and a few peopl eare using them on 2.0

Mine's;
Silver-top 1.8
Megajolt
CBR600 carbs with mains drilled to 1.65mm.

Set up at Bogg Brothers (superb)
120 bhp at the wheels.
Plus I reckon it does over 40mpg. Before I had them set up it struggled to do over 20!

zx6r carbs not fitted yet but Chester sportscars swear by them.
coozer do you have a map for your setup i am looking for something for my new setup.
