As a beginner to driving cars with quick racks, which is best for a predominately road usage car

I originally had a normal rack in my indy before the 'ding' at kirkistown, fitted a QR (about 2.9 lock-lock) during the rebuild and I
notice very little difference on the road, but in round twisty bits of the track I've noticed a LOT less 'sawing' of the steering
wheel. I'd recommend one.

ive just spoken to mk bout converting my rack to a quickrack and they said it would be £130! that sounds expensive to me when comparing it to the
above prices?

It's the difference between mass-production and hand-crafting... one-offs always cost more.

£100 is what i paid for mine from Darren at GTS 2 years ago. Had to change it myself but its no great problem. Makes a huge difference to the driving
experience- much sharper to drive. I wouldn't be without one on my indy now for road or track use £130 from MK with them doing the work
doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
Note if you get one from GTS , MK or perhaps MNR to build it yourself too, it usually comes ready shortened for the modded sierra rack fitted to MKs
so just requires assembly, no cutting etc.

no that price was for me removing mine, and sending it to them for them to convert.

as far as i'm aware, the above prices are for escort racks. the indy of course uses a sierra rack, modified, and the internals are a lot less in
demand compared to the escort rack, so are more expensive. is your price for internals only joel?
i paid £120 about 2 months ago for my QR from MK, but that was collected. probably worth a tenner if it's posted. the rack price might be ott,
but i hardly wanted to complain, as i can't mod the rack myself.

dont know, i never got one at the price. Im sure it was advertised for a while but its not on the website anymore. I paid a lot more than that in the
end, around 100, which seems right compared to what others quote. I think the £50 might've been a myth or at least misquoted. NS dev chopped one
for me in the end.

wasn't the £100 price if you were buying a quick rack when purchasing the kit, which would make sense as it would only be like them modifying
your standard rack
