mk indy 4-2 manifold

on my indy exhaust (R1 engine) wher the four pipes meet the collector to reduce it to 2 there seems to be a terrible rattle when revving over about 5k! any suggestions on this apart from bashing them further together with a big mallet!!

my bro had a problem like this,it looks like theres 4 inner pipes spot welded in the 4-2 section and one had come undone.

yeah...or.... like shed... it could have a fine crack in the weld!!!

Whats the remedy then as i have the same prob ?

I'm thinking its where the collector goes from 4 to 1.
