expansion cap size for indy blade
hi everyone
i did a trackday at the weekend went well, but on my last session my cap on my expansion tank blown off and i can't find it, must of not
tightined it properly. does anyone know which expansion tank the car is based on, its a indy fireblade and i did not build it myself so i am not sure
which cap to get, any help would be great, cheers

It could be anything. Post a pic and see if someone recognises it

This is the picture of wilgals expansion tank with the missing cap. Does anyone know what car its off so he can buy a new cap.

Thanks mate. I think its off a rover 200 but not sure. If you can confirm this il go out and get 1

Yes bubble shaped rover 200/25 --
Tank is different shape on the other Rovers ie earlier 214 and 400/45 but the cap is the same -- if buy second hand good idea to check the vent
hole in the cap isn't blocked up
Late production MGTF tank is the same but has a coolant level warning light sensor.
75 and Honda engined Rovers are completely different.

I've not looked yet Martin and will still do so, but a new one from a car parts place will cost you about £4 or £5! You need to get a high
pressure one, and you can get one to fit a Rover or a Ford.
