pinto coolant hoses

Morning and happy easter to you all

Just looking at fitting a polo Rad for my 2.0 pinto Indy.
Could do with some advice about hoses and how you go about working out what bends and lengths you need.

Any info on suppliers and sizes, bends and lengths etc much appreciated.

Cheers and hope you all have a good weekend

I fitted a polo rad aswell, got my hoses from europa, think i got the reducer from there aswell, the bottom hose has to be reduced to in size from the pump to the bottom of the rad.

Ø32mm x 400mm flexi hose (Halfords)from the thermostat to top of rad.

Ø36mm to Ø 32mm x 400mm flexi hose (Halfords) from water pump to Ø32mm x 150mm ally hose joiner (Car Builder Solutions/Merlin Motorsport) Ø32mm x 90º bend (Car Builder Solutions) to bottom of rad.

All secured with stainless Jubilee clips.

I made a small steel bracket fitted to one of the steering rack mounting bolts, with a large metal/rubber P clip to hold the bottom flexi hose in position and stop it fouling the alternator belt and steering column.

Maybe some pics in my archive
