mk 4-2-1 exhaust

i have a 4-2-1 exhaust on my r1 indy, just wondering how you clamp the pipes where the manifold pipes meet the collector? maybe cutting slits and clamping? anyone any ideas?

Hi Kev,
My collector pipe just fits over the individual header pipes, this then is clamped to an extension pipe (which isn't quite right), this then clamps to the silencer, which is secured by a rubber mount.

They are probably designed to seal by thermal expansion and thus dont need any clamps. Thats how mine are anyhow.

Use some silicone to seal them if you find it's blowing.
