Old MK book chassis front suspension not "book"?

Hi All

I have what I always thought was an MK book chassis which was originally bought by the previous owner who didnt complete the car, to compete in the 750MC series, the chassis is about 4 years old.

Everything seems to be book dimensions, until yesterday when I offered up some new book dimension wishbones Ive bought, and the suspension brackets seem to be about 10-15mm wider apart than they whould be. Ive checked the new wishbones and they are definitely to book dimensions.

Has anyone else come across this before? The current wishbones (MK U shaped race ones - or a copy of) therefore must have been made especially for this arrangement.

Chris

Not of much use, but the wider than std mounts would help explain the "flexing" you mentioned the other night

If anything wider chassis mounts should help stop flexing I would think, a more widely spread triangle etc?

BTW I think Rach took those seat mounts to work either yesterday or today so your mate should have them by now.
