GBS Zero screen & Weather gear on MK Indy

I ordered a GBS (Robin Hood) Zero windscreen and set of weather gear having heard several Indy builders/ owners have sucessfully fitted them, something that GBS themselves confirmed.

Problem is I can't see how the hood can be made to fit - I could really do with hearing from any Indy owners who have GBS Zero weather gear.

GBS work on a measurement of 100 cm between the top of the screen and the roll bar on the Zero. On the Indy, this measurement is 110 cm if the base of the windscreen is fitted in what looks the 'proper' position (just in front of and butted up to the 'step' on the Indy scuttle).

I thought at first this was just down to the roll bar position being slightly different between the two cars but the problem seems to be in the front:
With the base of the windscreen butted in front of the scuttle step and helpers holding the doors and hood in place there is a large gap between where the top of the windscreen is and where it needs to be to meet the top front edge of the hood and for the sides of the screen frame to line up with the doors.

To make this line up the windscreen has to be moved further back. To maintain the correct angles this would leave almost no distance between the base of the windscreen and the dashboard, with only a thin strip of the scuttle visible.

Is this an acceptable position or will the scuttle be weaker at this point and the whole thing look wrong ?

Has anyone encoutered this and found a work around ?
