Pedals

Well i started to fit my pedals today, and was having a look at pedal stops and fabricate a bracket to stop the pedals falling over as such.

Whilst i was doing this i spotted Pre drilled holes in the chassis (pedal brackets) behind the accelerator and clutch pedal Which snugly fits a M6*50mm bolt

Ive attached these images sorry about the quality

So are these here for this purpose?
Also i didn't apply any grease to the plastic bushes should i of?

Thanks toby

Looks like that's a good method for stopping the pedals going limp, so I'd imagine it's intentional.

I'm not sure I'd grease the pedal bushes, certainly not the throttle/clutch ones anyway. seem like they might gum up a bit.

Maybe graphite would be more suitable? it'll provide some lube, without the risk of collecting crap.
