Windscreen for MK Indy

Could anyone help please. I'm just finishing an MK Indy and want to fit a windscreen but can't seem to find a standard one to fit. Is there one or do I have to have one made. If so, who and where. Thank you. PS I'm only 15 so I can't spend a lot!

windscreen

if its just the glass you need give RAC autowindscreens a ring ,the plant fitters can cut flat laminated glass with a bs mark .

Half the hassle is the frame. I was thinking of cutting mine, removing 2" from the centre and getting rejoined and a new piece of glass fitted, all hassle. When fitted it looks OK so I'm going to stick with what I've got and get on with driving it, and at £80 not bad value.

Caterham screens fit perfect onto the Indy scuttle.
Look for a secondhand one at the shows if you can get there,if not keep looking on here or on other parts souces such as find it or e-bay,etc.
A friend bought mine for me at Newark last year with a cracked glass for £10.

Once I've finished a project why do I start another?

If you're not in a hurry, I know MK are developing a screen and frame.

Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Not in a hurry! I've been moaning at MK for 18months, the last I heard he needed 100 screens to run a batch and told me to go and buy a Lolocost one! From what I hear he has run out now.

Don't tell anyone but i'm getting a Catringvan screen in satin black! I have a contact who builds Cateringvans so the cost of the screen will be affordable!

I have seen many cateringvan screens and talked to a few people and it should be easy to fit with a few mods.
