I have seen a few like you've described and assuming you have a decent (well formed) set of arches, then I think it might be how you've
fitted the rear panel - ie because of the slightly awkward fit of the MK back end, it might be pulled inward and therefore it might be pulling the
arch inwrd toward the top aswell.
A photo of yours might get a couple of suggestions from a few MKers?

We split our rear panel to take out the excess material and ensure it (and the rear arches) sits flush on the sides of the chassis. Our rear arches
also slope inwards towards the car. Not that noticeable and IMO doesn't look odd but it is there if you look closely at most MK Indys.

Will this help

Yup, that happened on mine.
Back End
As 'elfire said, the MK rear panel is too wide, so by the time you nip it in to meet the body tub at the sides, you end up with arches that fix
to a sloping side.
Good news is it hasn't affected the 0-60, in gear acceleration, nor the top speed
Life's too short.
Get it built, get it on the track / road / ring!
