i've bought a new pannel from mk to tidy up the engine bay, i've never been happy where the tank is but would love to see what others have
done.

many thanks Graeme
Looks like you've got the same tank as me... but your installation is much neater, as I only fitted mine after a number of other things were
already in place on the scuttle panel.

sorry for the blured picture.
although its bolts to the schuttle, its the metal bracket that supports it, bolting through the schuttle just stops it moving about.
you can see mine if you look, was off a rover 200

Dirty catches!?!?!........Oh Bu**er!!
Trust you to notice Steve!
Its been on the road now 4years this June......those pics were taken last April, literally straight after a 20 mile blat, as I had changed from
Thackery washers (which had shattered ) to 'bobbins'......Cheers GeoffT... ...
So it needed testing to make sure it had stopped throwing flames and popping and far*ing at under 3k revs......
Therefore I hadn't cleaned it when the pics were taken.....
Fozzie
Fozzie, how are the bonnet hinges fitted front to back ?.
Looks very clean under there and tidy too, with the exception of said catches .
Joe
ps trust Steve to notice, but his wheels are filthy.
Steve has DIRTY Wheels?!? .......Shame on him!
Well..........first make 2 halves of bonnet.......then .........allowing enough to make......
hang on....
if I tell you that.....I would then have to kill you.........................
here is a pic (taken at the same time as those in the above linky) of bonnet up......
does that explain it better?

Fozzie
Thanks Fozzie, will tell my mate and send him your picture if thats ok with you.?.
OOoooooo Blinkin' 'eck.........I suppose that means I will have to kill him too!
Fozzie....
I will try and find a decent one of the bonnet closed, then you can see how the bonnet hinge 'sits'.........

By the way Fozzie, it looks like from the pikie that you've only used half of your engine bay.
