Having attached the rear calipers the goodridge hose seems to be too short. Do I need a longer one or will it be OK when its on its wheels

as long as the suspension is on full droop the ones youve got are ok but personally i would want a bit of extra length (oh sir) for peace of mind as the sva man will probably want it too
I think the routing to the back has to go below the diff..I made a pair off new brakelines to the back because the standard MK delivers were to short the way I had them routed..
i know nothing about brakes yet. but have you got the reusable fittings on those hoses? is there anyway you could swap the ends or adapt the ends to use banjo fittings? should save a bit of the length if it can be done that is...
Looks like they may be for a drum setup as they would then be long enough.
IMHO I would want a bit more slack.
Good point Stuart. When I got the pipes from MK they supplied 2 copper pipes I didn't need. I phoned them and they told me that the extra bits
were for rear drums!!!
Any ideas where to get some longer ones from
Chris : If the routing goes any lower the braided hose will need to be even longer as the chassis tapers in to the middle

dunno how long they are but maybe hey are for the fronts (straight input on willwood calipers) anyway banjo saves the bend
and thats what everyone fits...

Perhaps if you lower the bracket down you could also extend it outwards as well. This may give you that extra little bit you need. IMHO if it was mine I'd not be 100% happy with it and the very fact that you've asked the question means (to me) that you're not to happy with it either.
I have a pair of Goodridge hoses with a banjo on one end, 47.5cm end to end.
If they are any use to you (or any one else) they are surplus to my requirements FOC let me have an address and I'll try and get to a PO

You haven't got them on the wrong side perhaps. I would want the bleed nipple a bit more toward the top, etc.
The small copper bits MK supply could still probably be used.
If you went in solid pipe from the caliper to higher up on the Hub (as they only move relative to each other don't they?) and then with the flexi
from there to the chassis it would probably reach.
Thats kinda how the drum ones go.

Aren't the calipers upside down? Or do you have to fit them that way on an Indy? You will have to take them off to bleed the brakes....
I believe the calipers on the MK should be upside down. Just means that they will need to be turned when bleading.
I may be able to use the extra bit of coper I have from the caliper to the flexi. If not your kind offers may be taken up

If you route the hard line under the diff to a tee just behind it the flexies are plenty long enough. I'll see if I've got a good pic hang on...
