Shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you get a receipt from the scrappy. You'll then need to get proof of engine age for the SVA emissions
test. DVLA will give you a Q plate if there is no donor logbook, but will still want to see the receipt to satisfy themselves that the donor parts
aren't nicked.

Wont cause you any problems at sva time, it will just mean that once you come to register your car you will definatly get a Q plate.
Oh and welcome to the mad house!
What engine are you going to be putting in?
Mike
Give it a miss - still relatively easy to finding a Sierra that's still on the road.
SVA no problem - not an issue
But it's when you come to register it for an age related plate, it'll be easier with a log book, chassis plates etc etc.
Good luck.
engine wise ive been offered a crossflow and a (hope this is right) cbr 1000
i might have a look around for a sierra with log book see what appears
many thanks
if you have no receipts mate its no probs

If you want to, you can always take off the two identification plates by the bonnet release and (this is more difficult ) cut out the chassis number which should be stamped on the floor at the driver's right side.
ive been in touch with someone who has a car sat in there drive with all paperwork for £100 might be worth a ride over make my life easier anyway.
engine wise how do you connect the bike engine to te sierra prop ??
hi with a sprocket adaptor so you take the sprocket off and put this adaptor on
Like Chris says.
Have a look on our website. It should give you some idea of how a BEC goes together.
