rover 25 expansion tank

Morning

Been reading the threads and a popular expansion tank seems to be the round one of a Rover 25.

If any Indy owners have used this type how have to attached it to the car? The photos seem to suggest that the mounting lugs are on the top near the cap.

Any info or even better photos much appreciated.

Thanks
Nigel

thanks for the prompt response, is that off a Rover 25? reason I'm asking is that the photo I saw posted which contained nice pink coolant had the lugs coming out of the top not the rear like yours.

Appreciate the help

thanks for the replies

As the rover 200 tank has it's mounting lugs on the top do you think the rear face of the fibre glass battery tray will be strong enough to take a bracket supporting this tank when it has coolant in it.

Any ideas for attaching it to the car most welcome

I'd reinforce it with an ally plate behind and use largish washers to spread the load a bit if I was you.
