finally did some more work on the Indy today.
Rebuilt the calipers with service kits
Got the master cylinder bolted in and ran the rear lines.
Using one from a nissan from the scrappy, nice lightweight joby.
Have to see if it's up to the task with sierra disks though.
Now a question for you guys.
I remember reading something about the steering rack having to be collapsable or something for sva.
That's what i've got in mine, but I removed the corrugated sleeve at the top to fit one of pathfinders paddle shifts.
Will this still be okay?
Cheers
Ben

the corrugated bit is the collapsable bit that is required for SVA, but there is still hope
you can get away with offsetting the colum by IIRC 17 degrees, which judging by your pics might be ok (please correct me if im wrong about the angle
)
hope that helped
Matt
There are two collapsable features on the Sierra column (assuming that's what you're using). If you still have the telescopic triangular
section then you may be covered.

yup got the telescopic bit if I remember correctly.
Cheers chaps
should be ok with just the one collapsible part that is visible in your pic...
are you running Two brake lines to the back of your car?
Steve.
Yup, the mc is a duel cylinder jobby, 2 outlets to both front and back.
Very light weight though, about a quarter of the sierra cast mc
Got the rest of the hard lines p-clipped in and brackets in place.
Where is a good place to get braided flexis from? need to be sva compatible.
Cheers

have you got the body on yet
have you got the body on yet
can't see if resevoir has an electric low fluid level indicator.
Tony
Yup it's on the offside of the cylinder
Not even ordered the bodywork yet, need to flog the rover 200 to release some funds first hehe. Lines are in place to go through the side panels
though.
sounds like me sell anything important to buy good stuff
indeed still got a grand sat in the bank for the engine, malc is hunting me one down, but the carb'd r1 seem more rare now.
Selling the rover will get some of the other expensive bits out the way, plus i'm reclaiming bank charges which will hopefully fund the rest
