MK Indy side panels
Hammerhead - 29/3/07 at 08:30 PM

I am about to order my bodywork from MK. I have noticed that there seems to be two versions of the side panels. Does anyone know if the ones in white (Chris Mason's old car) are the ones currently available? I don't like the gappy ones and would like the neater (imho) panels with cut outs for the wishbones and rack. Rescued attachment Untitled-2 copy.jpg

Yeah, the full length side panels with cutouts look much neater.

But the sides that are cut do help with getting heat out the engine bay

i'll probably vent the engine bay in a more aesthetically pleasing way

Car engines tend not to get as hot... so venting may be unnecessary.

Send them a large sheet of paper & get them to trace around their wishbone cutouts template, it'll save you a lot of bother.

The reason the panels were cut back was to make fitting the wishbones easier, last time I spoke to Charlie he said an in fill panel was availiable
