What have people done to make their MK pedals less slippery. I've looked at some aftermarket cover sets, but they al seem to require a larger
surface to attatch to than the MK pedals have.

Any ideas?
I take it then you don't have a welder. If not get some plate and someone to weld on larger pads. You may fail the SVA if you go along with those
fitted as I think (top of the head time...) they have to be a minimum of 50mm apart according to the box I got mine in.

How about non slip tape such as
THIS?, or a more
locost solution would be to mix some coarse sand into a little paint and paint pedals with it then seal it in with another couple of coats of clean
paint. We do steel container floors like this at work and it is very effective and very hard wearing.

thats a good idea.
Skateboard tape, its only a couple of quid a pack on fleabay and does the job fine.

Don't have a welder I'm afraid (couldn't use one if I had, though!).
The tape seams a good idea, see if I can get some of that over here.
Thanks guys.
I used a Woolworth's rubber shoe sole kit - glued the rubber on with the glue provided, then trimmed to size with a Stanley knife. I did it specificaly for SVA, but have left them on and they are still in place 2500 miles later
OEM Rubber Mini Pedal Pads fit (with slight adjustment). The accelerator you want slippy!

I glued on a piece of emery cloth with araladite. Works fine. Passed sva.

Just take into account, there is not alot of room in the foot well on a Indy, and the pedals are very close together, add to this a set of wide pedals like the ones pictured in your original post, and you could end up pressing the throttle pedal at the same time as the brake, with your average size 10 footwear on,so if you want to go for the sporty look go for the narrowest pedals you can find, these are also easier to fit to the narrow Indy pedals.
Hello,
Made some with a friend off mine.
