Hi there
Well, I'm about to order some coil overs, looking at GAZ or PROTECH for my Indy
What would you recommend?
Many thanks
Cheers
Ian
P.S. what spring rates have you used if you have a BEC
If you search through the threads you'll see I posted one about this not long back, regarding locost. Protec I think ending up getting the
majority vote.
Speak to Procomp, they know they're stuff regarding this
Cheers
Matt
I believe protech use a slighter newer valve design and are ally bodied which is about the only real advantage between the two as I understand it. MK
also supply protech shocks as standard on the deluxe kit i believe
Ned.
hold a gaz in one hand and a protech in the other......then ring MK , they do really good deals on them
cheers mark
Procomp, has a suspension dyno machine and has analised all of the major manufacturers ones. Contact matt and ask him. He did tell me the other week, some look the part but are badly valved and are hard to balance the damping. IIRC Gaz came out top

my protec ones are holding up very well, still look like new and their about 4 years old now (one day they might even be used on the road...)
Hi if mackei23b dose want to ask me for any advise on his shocks please feel welcome to do so.
But frankly the best dampers for any car are the ones that are valved correctly and are suitable for the job. I do not have any paticular favorits
that i recomend as a good working damper is a good working damper.
