Well we did it. We have succesfully shipped a Mango screen to Bob Shultz in sunny California!

He sent this pic of it fitted.
Ps I think he is the furtherest MK to date.

Slight hijack but this has been nagging at the back of my mind for a while now.

If you fit a screen post SVA what are the legal requirements?
IE. wipers, washers, demister etc.

Yes, you need wipers that wipe fast enough, washers and a demister that demisters quick enough.

Just put screen on after SVA

Ahh!! but in the 'unlikely' event of a pull by plod is it an offense to have a windscreen without wipers or washers for example??

Its an offence to drive a car that isnt capable of passing an MOT, not sure if they just make you take another one, or if they dont let you drive it until its sorted.

MOT states that the wipers need to clear the screen in front of the driver. But it may be a case that the rule applies if wipers are fitted.

Someone posted about a MOT questions website last week, not sure of the URL but shouldnt be hard to find.
