On the Indy what form of brake balance do you use.
Also do most pepole use the sierra master cylinder

Hi Kev,

A few paople (me included) have used the rear brake compensator from a Fiat Uno. It's located under in front of the passenger side rear wheel by the suspension trailing arm.

You can use it to make an adjustable compensator/bias valve.

See www.winchester7.com December for some pics of mine.

I started with a std sierra setup with xr4x4 brakes front and rear with a sierra master cylinder. This managed to get through sva however I found about the 3rd time i drove the car i was locking up the rears. I have now fitted a willwood bias valve from rally design (www.raldes.co.uk i think) and this has totaly transformed the braking performance of the car.

I believe a brake balance bar is the best option but can be dificult to set up correctly where a bias valve is easy to fit and set up.
