this is what i'm using at present but intend to replace it with an alloy disc tacked to the rack

Snoopy at MK recommended a couple of polybush halves (suitably bored out), tapped onto each end of rack. They seem to work well on ours.

I used a bit of old heater hose with a jubilee clip round it.
