Finally managed to get my nice new 13 plate and tax disc today from DVLA... thanks to Danny Keenan and Motorhog for the supply of parts and thanks to those on here who have helped with the build by commenting on pics..

off to make some plates now...

How long did the DVLA take? I'm currently waiting for my tax and reg. Have been told it could take 10 days.

3 weeks for inspection due to the only inspector going on holiday for 2 weeks.. then i collected the docs from dvla today after my inspection on wednesday..

I take it that like me you IVA'd at Gillingham and did DVLA inspection at Maidstone ?
Mine had IVA on a Tuesday, had inspection on Wednesday and I had plates on it Wednesday afternoon. Maidstone DVLA are wonderful: shame they will be closed down in October

well put my application 3 weeks ago but the inspector was away for 2 weeks so had to wait until now.. never the less its done and the sun is still shining..
