After I managed to bend my MK pretty good against the side of a Mercedes the other week, my friend and I have decided to repair the chassis rather
than get a new one.
We were wondering if somebody had a drawing or diagram of the relevant dimensions needed for a front end rebuild?
Any info at all would be gratefully received.
Many thanks
James
Same as original Ron Champion Locost but 1" taller at the top.

some helpful info on chassis there.
Thanks!
mk sell a full front end from the scuttle back this might be easier you can just use the bits you need then and all the pick up points will be correct.
some body must have some measurements or a car they/we can measure I was going to start repairing james's chassis tomorow but need the measurements first. thanks. .m.
ive a MK indy thats never been damage running a bike engine but all the bodywork is loose as i am fitting some upgrades i am happy to measure anything
you want if i can get to it without stripping it any further if that helps, might need a diagram of what you want measured and i will add my sizes to
it if you want, if that helps i dont know..

Hi
Surely now you have the opurtunity you would be wanting to dial out all the inbuilt problems that the original chassis has with poor camber control
Etc Etc. Rather than just copying them over to a new chassis.
Copying the original Ron book certainly wont work with the use of Sierra uprights. It was primarily designed/ copied for Cortina uprights and that was
not done very well.
Cheers Matt
