....... Which do you prefer?
I've mocked up a before and after of my car with a Full Rollcage to see what it would look like if and when I fit one.
What do you think of the after. Does it suit a full cage
Thanks To Martin (eccsmk) for the hi res image to allow me to do it
Before

i think 7's suit just a rear roll bar.
i don't think anyones head suits scraping along the ground.
full cage is the way, but personally i don't like any kind of no roof
Ah so I see I nearly talked you into getting one... must try harder next time lol
Full full full......
I like the roll bar.
I definately prefer the second one
Second one for def .
cage, looks more racy
how about some side bars too?

second picture does finnish the car off
Another vote for the rollcage it seems to make a more complete car out of it. Rather than a flat double bed with a head board sticking up at one end!
cage looks good , butfor a cage it needs to be a stripped out racer and the padded seats look wrong in a cage. cage = fibreglass shell seats, then it looks right.
I would also go for the RC as well. In the picture though, i do not like the front windscreen roll bars. Too much of an angle.
I would have it more vertical.
Prefer the cage as well.
Cheers
Ian
If it is purely for the looks, the simpler the better, so the rollbar gets my vote for looks.
That said, neither a rollbar or a rollcage is for looks and the cage will be surely safer... so I have a full cage with side bars. If you go on track,
get a rollcage. This is my opinion.

Hi
Have to agree with the comments on the front section. It is far to low an angle. And with the roof bars having the bends in them it is verging on
useless in an accident.
For guidance follow the guidelines in the MSA blue book. LINK HERE.
Roll Cages come under section C(c) Competitors -
Safety
Regarding safety issues if it's worth doing it's worth doing right.
Cheers Matt
Definitely WITH the cage.
Wish I'd had the foresight to have a full cage welded into my Indy all those years ago (2003) when I started building it. Although having said
that I don't remember seeing many if any road going 7's with full cages in those days.
cage cage cage,
just transforms the car
cage looks better but then the roll bar is silver - doesn't look that nice.
i like the caged look
Cage for me too!
nice car! It'll look good with a full cage
