As my technical english aint that good I need some things explained. Found some phrases in the Indy build manual I´m not sure of.
1. "The rear wishbones are NOT handed"?
Does it mean that there´s no front and back on the wishbones?
2. M12x75mm HT bolt?
3. I´ve got 2 sorts of threaded rivnuts, black and goldish. Where are these supposed to fit?
1. gimme a min to get some photos of mine
2. high tensile.
3. i'm using the rivnuts for mounting scuttle, wings etc, anything that needs bolting into a chassis tube
Quick answers....I love it
ok, got photos
wishbones
it's a mirrored pic due to the batteries on my camera being dead.
gives the idea though, all pointing the same way etc

Not handed means it doesnt matter what side u put them on, ie. not left or right handed
Jonte
Front top bones are the ones with a slight difference left or right, top balljoint must point upwards with top of hub leaning slightly to back of
car.
Rear bones are identical (not handed)apart from bottom bones Z shape in the design, staple balls has his in same possition as mine and everyone elses
so they must be right.

Er, good question, I'd say probably!
I doubt they've rewritten the manual for LHD, and I'd assume your engine is the same as the UK ones, what is it, a Pinto?
To recap, from sitting in the car, offhand side (O/S) is the right, nearhand side (N/S) is the left.
jonti, thats why i said it as i did,how come england is one of the few countries in the world to have the steering wheel on the RIGHT side of the
car???
probably because the japanese and english (and most former empire members too) drive on the left... maybe? WHo knows!!!
