Having only a few more bits to weld, I thought you might some more pics!
In the photos you can see all of the tags with 6mm rivnuts for fixing the panels and floor tub.

Can I ask why you went for tags with rivnuts in rather than just drilled and tapped tags for the panels etc?
Cheers

Just out of curiosity, how similar is it to an actual atom chassis?

A fair bit!
Not an exact copy though. Rear end is a bike cradle, air suspension means different shock mounts, Atom nose cone fits my chassis, aero wishbones,
different rollbar..............

Are the tubes the same diameter as the atoms? It's coming along nicely, can't wait to see it finished .

No mine are 38mm, the atom is 50mm.
I don't have a 175kg engine and gearbox to carry!

I don't think so, they are too complicated for a homebuilder to make cheaply. I would need to invest in rolling and cnc machines to stand a
chance.
Just a couple more pics of the fuel filler.
The slots infront of it are for the NACA ducts for the air intakes.

Aren't you a home builder
Seriously though thats an absolutely stunning chassis
How long have you been building/designing it for?

What I meant was too much for a homebuilder to mass produce.
Car was in the planning for a year (in my head and collecting parts).
Chassis build has been about 6-7 months, obviously not continuosly.
Once the chassis is finished/painted it should come together reasonably quickly.

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.

I was being cheeky really as that looks very complicated.
You don't hang around thats a shorter build time than I expected, you've must of climbed a few mountains

Second full build and a bit more cash always speeds thing up!
It would have been an even quicker build if I didn't have to wait for parts!
