Aerodynamics
Iv been thinking. What have people done to aid aerodynamics? All the pics of the rear underside of car (under fuel tank) i have seen are open so must
create a fair bit of drag. Is there any reason why a floor couldnt be fixed here? Also a lip could be built to direct air under the rear wishbones?
These suggestions might be stupid but iv got nothing else to do at the moment

with that v12 in your car does the wind have a chance?

I'm fitting a full undertray under the engine bay with NACA ducts in the side and bonnet to extract air that would otherwise have no where to go
(without the undertray it would be forced under the car causing lift and drag). MNR are also making me a rear diffuser that should keep the airflow
clean at the back and create some downforce. The only aspect I haven't fully thought through yet is a splitter under the nose cone (little point
putting in a full undertray if the nose cone crams air under it. I've also thought about putting a short rubber strip underneath each side of
the car and setting the suspension in a slightly nose-down attitude to help create a bit of a venturi effect under the car. May not be hugely
effective but will at least stop lift.

The front wings create lift. Wrap the wing round the front of the wheel more to stop as much air getting underneath. You could also add a little lip
type spoiler to the back of the front wings like the caterham CSR
The front face of the rear wings are vertical and perpendicular to forward motion = bad aerodynamics. You could slope them or curve them. I
haven't seen it done and look pretty but that's amatures for you. Or you could make the body wider so that the rear wings stick out
less.
Rounding the top and sides of nose more might help. See the new MNR nose cone.
Half doors will reduce turbulance round the cockpit.
A raked screen and full roof like a donkeywart might improve things too.

Im already planning a raked screen mounted at the front of the scuttle, doors, and a removable roof for those hot summer days (if we ever get any) and
a closed in roll cage so it will be able to be used in all weathers

Following on from Smart51s comments, MNR do front wings with molded in gurney flaps in the trailing side. The rear wings have a smoothe curve to the
rear so will create lift (similar to the early TT that had big rear end lift) so I'm planning to fit gurney flaps to these also.
