Here we go! New Build.

Well I've been looking at a lot of part built / chassis recently but finally got round to picking up my part built chassis - it was my spare when I was hillclimbing in my '7' a few years ago. It's more finished than I remember so I've got a head start!

It also came with cortina uprights, discs calipers (needing a good clean up) but I've also acquired some Swift Formula Renault front uprights (and the rears) so I may use these - I haven't weighed them but they feel like half the weight of the Cortina ones!

The plan is to get the chassis off to get it finished with a de Dion rear end (or IRS and use the single seater uprights) then slowly put it together with a Zetec SE possibly, although I have a spare R1 sitting on the bench...

Here it is getting home.
