Hi Ross....what do you need to know...
I was joint owner of SVC at the time, the actual production number was more like 22....it's great to see one again......
It was a solidly engineered car, if not the most beautiful...

Just thought i would give you a bit of an update on the progress of the car. Now got the engine running whcich is great but still need to find a few
parts. Still can't find any affordable seats to go in the car and we have decided to go with an alloy cheqer plate floor. When i am next home
from college to work on the car i will get the brakes sorted out, fuel tank and lines replaced and the windscreen back in.

SVC
Hi there,
is this old post still going?
I have just joined the forum so hi to you all.
I have a history with the SVC having built one back in 1984-85 in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Unfortunately sold it a long time ago and now feeling rather
nostalgic I have been trying to track it down - last saw it in Bristol some 15 years ago.
I would love to hear more of this rebuild and any others around - you never know I might even find my old one!
Any help or questions just ask.
Cheers, Greg

Hi Greg
How's things ?
Was your's one you collected from Preston or did Paul and I deliver it?
Ironically if I could find one now I'd be able to import it to the US with them being 25 years old.
All the best,
Alan

Hi Alan,
You delivered it to Chippenham.
I had you paint it ferrari red - rosso corsa I think and also supply white connolloy leather seats and dashboard with veglia instruments.
I sold it in 1986 at Westbury car auctions for a lot less than it cost me to build - a big mistake which I regret to this day.
I put a 2litre ford engine in after having it completely rebuild by a specialist near Castle Coombe race circuit.
I am hoping to find out what became of it through this and other forum but it is a bit of a long shot.
When I can find some pictures I will put them up.
Cheers,
Greg

Sva spectre
Hi all, we (runshaw college leyland) inherited an sva from a local bobby in chorley and i have totally rebuilt the engine and chassis with my students
even showed it at the leyland festival this year however the main body was shot to pieces, with the exception of the front end which is now in our
way.
As the car was donated to us as good will we are giving the front end and lights re furbed away to any sva owner who wants it. We support local
charities and any small donation would be appreciated.
The whole hood is in black primer and can be resprayed once rubbed smooth as is but has minor cracking around the wheel arch which has had a
fibreglass repair on it.
Please contact me
ashurst.a@runshaw.ac.uk
After christmass hols please we break up now until the 6th jan.
