Update Pics
Tell me it's worth it and it will be ok in the end!
Hurt my back lifting the bugger so my little brother in law could pull out the axle stands today.
It's on its back wheels now though and I don't have to take anything apart at the back again.

sounds ominous, will do.
i cheated dropping mine off the trestles.
put engine crane on the front, took the front trestle out, and roped my uncle, and the student that's working in the park at the mo to drop it.
all i did was take the back trestle out.
the student lad must've done most of the work, as neither me or my uncle thought we were doing much. many hands, eh?
looking good though, the slicks look very purposeful!
will u2u visiting hours,
tom

Now now now...
Don't get confused.
Tom has posted a pic of his car as well that I think he should remove to avoid any further confusion!

further confusion averted. pic vanished into the ether.
in answer to horn in before the engine, it went in with the loom that was taken out of the other car, and it's a pita to drill the bracket holes
with the engine in.
the joys of a second build!

And hindsight.
Mine is coming together so much easier and neater than the Avon.

If you make a few alterations now Pat, it could still look modern even by the time you finish.
Something like this...........
