Caterham or Lotus Plans

The link to George Cushings site doesn't seem to work. Any ideas of an alternative for finding Caterham or Lotus plans?

Also thanks to all for advice on chassis tube thickness.

The george cushing link worked for me! If you knock off ht e Lotus design expect a visit from Caterham's lawyers as they still own the design I believe.

The McSorely plans are a practical to build version. the Lotus requires an anti roll bar to form the front chord of the upper wishbone the suspension geometry is all different, the rear live axle is controlled by an A frame rather than a panhard rod and the original design is meant to cope with engines less than 100BHP. Honestly the amount of reworking and trouble you would end up with is very considerable!

If you want the look of the 7 the Locost / Mc Sorely plans are the way to go just make the changes like sloping the "door" tube and the dash angle, also you will need a crossflow engine as Pinto and other cheap available OHC engines are just too tall to go below the bonnet line of the 7. You could also use appropriate size round tube rather than square for the Locost designand change the transmission tunnel to give the 7 like round top, but don't stray to far or you will get some real headaches!
